Portrait Photography

"I am because we are."
All that we are is defined, relative to something else. In a way, we are defined in equal part by what we are not. The enigma of understanding what the eyes reflect when two beings look at each other - "what stares back" - is the great mystery of life. Maybe it is a great journey to remembering. 
As a photographer, I try my best to bring some whimsy to that mystery in my portraits.
